I like that you have already added in commenary. I have not reached that point in my presentation. You might want to reconsider your pictures as they don't relate to your classes as much; maybe through in some shots of your students. I know you mentioned graphics would come last, so I don't know where you are in this aspect. It is not quite 5 minutes, to reach the time requirements you might want to add some more. You are off to a wonderful start!
Margaret, Thanks and I am comparing my students to animals, like shy mice, lazy bears, challenging lions, and domineering bears. Many times we give animas human characteristics, I flipped it. I gave humans, animal characteristics. I might take that bear and add him at the end then take video of a parrot or other bird for domineering/overly talkative.
You are off to a great start! I enjoyed the commentary and the live shot of you speaking (now I feel like I know you better :) Are you adding the part about the keynote speaker in later?
The script is going well. You might consider a positive synonym to replace the word lazy and work on the background music. Consider the lighting as well. You've experimented a lot, so I think the video is going to turn out well.
Hi Marcia. I think you will have an excellent video. The cake analogy was quite effective. I would argue, however, that making the cake is always easier with a good recipe and the icing always comes out better when you are able to plan and collect all of the ingredients before you start :-) Anyway, I can't wait to see the final "cake" when your video is done!
I love it! Yeah, I am trying to add more visuals and ingredients. Still trying to get forests sounds or classical music that sounds like a forest! I should publish the newest one but I would like to get the music first!

I like your commentary. I assume you will be adding more moving video. I like the tips you give to deal with difficult students.

Okay I get it. Great comparison! I am the slow student sometimes!

Tosh,
ReplyDeleteI would like to replace it but the research centers around those four types? SO Lazy it is.
It goes great with the bear. I just need to find a lazy bear or another lazy animal video....maybe a cat or a dog? What do you think?
I got my cat to comply. Plus I drugged her with turkey and a littel catnip!

Burian,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like I will be the keynote speaker. I could not find anyone else to comply! Film, me...oh,no!
I tried to get a friend and fellow professor from DePaul to do it and he wouldn't~!
Marcia
Margaret,
ReplyDeleteI don't have any pictures of my students. I am an online professor for the last two years about.
